Hi I'm Jordan

I'm from Idaho. I love life! I'm a Missionary! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Hi! My name is Jordan. I am from a little town in Idaho. Best place on earth. I come from a family of 7, My parents, 3 brothers, 1 Sister and me. I am currently serving as a missionary in the Pennsylvania Pittsburgh Mission. I’m 20 years old. I have been serving my mission for just under a year. I have loved it so far. I have been able to grow a ton. My testimony of the Gospel has grown immensely. Before my mission I attended Utah State in Logan Utah. I hope to return there after I complete my mission. I love to play sports. I love to cycle it is the BEST sport known to man. I play basketball. I snow ski. I play the piano (thanks to a very loving mother) I wish that i was much better than what i am, but hopefully someday i can become better. I love working with my hands. I love spending time with friends and family. I am so grateful for my family and all those that have made an impact on my life. I am so grateful for this gospel. It has changed my life. I have grown so much while i have been serving my savior. I know that this church was restored through Joseph Smith and that once again Christs Church has been established on the earth.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. My parents always raised me to live the gospel and apply it into my life. I have known it is true from little moments that have built my testimony. I have knelt down and asked my father in heaven if this church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, is true. I have asked if the Book of Mormon is true. I know without a doubt that this gospel provides the way to return to our father in heaven. I am a Mormon because I have seen the blessings that come from living right. I have seen the peace that the Gospel of Jesus Christ can bring into a home. I have been fortunate enough to be able to serve a mission and see the change that it can bring into peoples lives. I would not be who I am today or where I am today if it was not for being a Mormon. I so incredibly grateful for all the many blessings that I have been given. I am so grateful to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Well I am a missionary for the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, So far it has been an awesome experience to be able to help others come closer to Our Savior Jesus Christ. No one is perfect, I'm not perfect, but I try my very best to live the best life that I can. I imagine sometimes that if the savior were standing by me...would I do the things that I do? I try to be an example to the people around me. It is not always easy but it is definitely worth it in the end. Sometimes it helps to see the bigger picture. I live my faith by trying to obey the commandments given from God. They are not given to restraint us, but to help be a guide so that we can return to Him. I love being a member of The Church. I try my very best to live the best that I can make my father in heaven proud of me.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

Jordan
God is our Father in Heaven. God is Not a just a spirit but has a body just like ours only perfected and Immortal. We can actually communicate with him through sincere prayer. He wants to hear from us because we are his his children. Because we are his children and he loves us he has provided a way for us through his son Jesus Christ, to return back into his presence.
