Hi I'm Andrew!

Hello! I'm an avid hiker and fisher. And i am a happy person! You should try it! I love Ultimate Frisbee! And i'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love camping, hiking, fishing, kayaking, reading, and video games. I'll be going to the University of Utah in 2014 in the collage of Engineering. I'll almost always be the first to be laughing, i do enjoy being happy in fact its one of my favorite things to do! I'm the type of person who can't sit still for more than a few minutes before i have the strong desire to get up and do something amazingly fun! I have taken a strong liking to taking pictures of random things on sidewalks. If i you were to listen in to a conversation between my best friends and i you would most likely be confused at the absurdity of what we say. I'm always willing to play a good game of Ultimate Frisbee. I think that Ultimate Frisbee is by far the best!

Why I am a Mormon

I LOVE BEING A MORMON! If you aren't a Mormon, you should be! I was born and raised to the Church but like most, my parents gave me the opportunity to choose for my self if the Church of Jesus Christ is the true church of God, so like many before me i read my scriptures and followed the example of Joseph Smith and prayed to ask my Heavenly Father if this church is His church. After that point in my life i have always felt the burning comfort of security in knowing for my self that this is His church. I know that God is my Father. He loves me. Christ felt everything i have, he knows my pain, he knows my troubles he knows my weaknesses and He has done everything for the benefit for me. The Lord has been spending hundreds of years preparing the unique events in each of our life's to be specially catered for our individual needs. As it says in 2 Nephi in the Book of Mormon "Adam fell that men might be and men are that they might have joy" the Lord is perfect, everything that has been done is for the benefit of all men. Even though i have not led a perfect life, i know that my Savior lives, that we make mistakes to learn. Bad things WILL happen to everyone, however it is our individual blessing to be able to Choose to learn the lessons that He would have us learn from the trials of our faith. We all do things that bring us guilt or shame but through the atonement of Jesus Christ those burdens can and will be taken from us. I love my Savior.

How I live my faith

I am serving a two year mission for my Church. this time is a period of my life where i am able to leave behind all the distractions of everyday life and give my total attention to serve my God, Jesus is my Master i am called to invite others to come unto Him by teaching them about His restored Gospel and how they will need Him in their life. I live my faith by acting on what the scriptures tell us, we are to follow the example of Jesus Christ. We are to do this by Living the gospel of Jesus Christ, by first finding that Faith inside of us, we then act on that Faith by Repenting, Repentance is a joyful thing! repentance is us ridding our selfs of the bad and letting the Savior into our lives and letting him change us through the power of His Atonement. Then i Make Covenants (two way promise between us and God) starting with baptism and then continuing on to take the sacrament weekly. I'm looking forward to the day that i can be married in the temple of God and make more of these covenants. And then by doing the right things i qualify to have the Holy Ghost in my life, i rely on the Holy Ghost so much, i am weak without him. I live my faith by enduring or ENJOYING to the end. I live my faith by using the Atonement to get closer to God.

In whom should we have faith?

Andrew!
We should have Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ! at times it may seem hard or unobtainable but guess what! thats ok because all we need is a desire to have that Faith and then if we act on that desire we will be blessed with that faith. Show more Show less
