Hi I'm Klint Garner

I weld, I snowboard, and I love the scriptures. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Rexburg, Idaho as one of 9 kids. My twin brother and I were numbers 6 and 7. I grew up in a typical Mormon home and enjoyed good times and tough times with my family. After high school I went to a technical college in Logan, Utah and learned how to weld and got a job TIG welding for a company there to help make some money for the mission that I am currently serving.

Why I am a Mormon

So I grew up in the church and "had" to go to church every week. My parents split up when I was 13 and I decided to move in with my oldest brother in Utah who at the time was not very active in the church. When I moved in with him I had no intention of ever going back to church and so I didn't for about 5 years, all the while taking Full advantage of all that the world had to offer to make one happy. It took me a while to recognize it but when I was 18 and renting a place with my twin brother and older brother, I realized that I was miserable. I had things going just fine for me but I felt something was missing. I felt like there was more out there and I wanted to find what it was. I found a copy of the Book of Mormon at the foot of my bed one afternoon and picked it up. I couldn't tell you what I read that day but it spoke to me. It answered the question I had on my mind. I decided to pray about the Book of Mormon and ask God if it was true. I felt a peace come over me and I knew that I had some repenting and changing to do. At that point I still had no intention of ever going on a mission but as time went on and I read and prayed daily I felt I needed to. I have never been happier and more at peace since I started living the Gospel and going back to Church. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and because it's true I know that Joseph Smith was a Prophet and he restored Christ's original church back to the Earth. Nothing else in this life brings true and full peace and happiness but the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Unfortunetly for most of my life growing up I didn't live my faith. Since picking up the Book of Mormon when I was 18 and gaining a testimony of it's truthfulness I decided to serve a mission so that I could share with others the truth and peace and happiness that I found.
