Hi I'm Peter

I'm an Irish Dancer and a Breakdancer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi my name is Peter, and as you guessed I am a Mormon. I'm an Open Championship Irish Dancer and a Breakdancer. Dancing has always been a huge thing for me. I just enjoy moving to music and putting rhythm to songs. Anytime music comes on I want to just bust out and start dancing. I also enjoy doing anything outdoors, some of my favorites are hiking, sports, and hiking some more. Nature has always been a place for me to think and really dive into questions I have, plus I like the alone time and peacefulness of being outside and away from everything. I also have type 1 Diabetes but I don't let that stop me from doing what I like.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church, but at one point or another we all have to be converted. I came to know that the Church is true when I was a senior in High School and my best friend passed away. We grew up together and did everything together and I knew that I could always count on him. He was the one that I talked to when I needed someone. Than one day he was gone. That was when I prayed for real because I had to know if God exsisted and if he cared, I prayed with everything I had because I really desired to know. I was angry with God at first but as I prayed He just listened to me. Than when I had vented everything I felt Christ's Atonement in my life for the first time. I felt like someone actually knew what I was going through and someone actually cared. I got my answer through the Holy Ghost, He testified to me that everything I had been taught was true. Sometimes life is still hard, but I have my testimony of that experience and I can't deny that it happened. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior, and that our Heavenly Father does hear and answer our prayers.

How I live my faith

I served a mission in California where I spent my time trying to bring others closer to Jesus Christ and now that I'm home I will continue to do that. I try to live my life in a way that when I go to sleep at night I can be happy with what I have done throughout the day. I want others to look at me and see good, so I do my best to live what I have been taught and know to be true.
