Hi I'm Bryan

and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been studying at BYU for the last four years. My family is currently living in Arizona and I love to go visit them whenever I can. I seem to be constantly finding new, random hobbies all the time. Rubik's cubes, lock picking, coin tricks, and a bunch of other really random stuff. I'd rather spend my time with a small, close group of friends rather then going to a big party or large event.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and my family have always been very strong and active members. I have always believed The Church of Jesus Christ to be true but I received a strong confirmation of its truthfulness when I was 19 years old and preparing to go on a mission. At that time, I believe that my faith in the church had never really been truly tested. My friends were always very accepting of who I was and I had never had to give up or sacrifice too much in order to live my faith. However, with my mission soon approaching, I realized that I would soon be giving up what would be 2 full years of my life. I began to question whether or not I was strong enough to devote myself entirely to a cause that I was not 100% sure about. I began to fast regularly, read the scriptures every day, and continually pray to the Lord, begging Him to strengthen my testimony. I was blessed with a confirmation of the truthfulness of the Lords church only a few weeks later. I felt incredibly confident about my decision to go on a mission and that if I stayed strong in my faith, the Lord would always bless me with a constant and fervent affirmation of the truthfulness of his gospel. Serving a 2 year mission was incredibly difficult but also wonderfully fulfilling. I am sure that I grew more in those 2 years then I have at any other part of my life. The Lords gospel is truly wonderful and I believe that everyone can find that same joy in their own lives if they come to accept Christ and his wonderful gospel that he has given us.

How I live my faith

There are many ways that I live my faith. Some are more visible than others. I attend church regularly and do all that I can to exemplify and magnify my priesthood authority. I work hard at fulfilling all of my church callings and I visit and help those around me that are in need. I try to live every day as if the Lord's second coming is now. I strive to always be worthy of the great gifts and privileges that I have been blessed with. I attend the Lord's temple regularly and do all that I can to help in that divine work. I hope to live every day of my life with the confidence that I know the Lord wishes me to have.
