Hi I'm Curtis

I love popsicles. I ride bikes. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Idaho in a family of 6. I love riding BMX and mountain bikes and have worked in a local bike shop since i was 15. I also very much enjoy basketball and ping pong and climbing on stuff. I've started my college education and plan on finishing here in the near future. I love my family! I also enjoy all varieties of pancakes.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church which I am extremely thankful for. I know that I am who I am today and am where I am today because of having the gospel in my home growing up. Today I'm a Mormon because I know that it is the true church of Jesus Christ on the earth. God has answered my prayers in ways that I can never deny. The more I study the scriptures and go to church and think about life and God I always get a familiar good feeling confirming what I know is true. I always knew that Jesus Christ was there and always had that foundation because of what my parents had taught me but never really recognized that healing power that comes from Jesus Christ until I started to actually repent and seek it out for myself when I was 18. I'm a Mormon because being an active member of the church brings me happiness and I know that I've felt the Holy Ghost and that is something I can never deny.

How I live my faith

The way I live my faith is by serving! Right now I have the opportunuty to be serving full time for 2 years as a missionary in North and South Dakota. I chose to serve a mission because I want to help others. The more I serve others the more my faith grows. I also try to just be a good example to those around me. It's a pretty unique opportunity to be a missionary. Pretty much I get to talk to people about Jesus Christ all day and see people's faith in him grow which changes people's lives. I also get to serve in other ways like doing community service and helping people. After I get back I plan on living my faith by continueing to serve and helping people to increase their faith by sharing my faith. There is literally nothing as cool as sharing the gospel with other people.
