Hi I'm Cierra

I am an outdoor junky, working on my education in Anthropology, I love people and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in a small town called Idaho Falls, Idaho. I loved growing up there and being a kid. The endless water fights in the summer and playing neighborhood night games. My family is full of life; it’s a sitcom and a drama all wrapped up in one bundle. There are four older sisters, one older brother who is mentally disabled but a huge sweet heart), then me, and my younger brother. My Father was a convert; he joined the church when he was in his later teens. My mom was a member and had to make the choice to be active or follow in her sibling’s footsteps. I am going to school and working on my undergrad with a World History and close to finishing that and getting ready to look for my upper grad in Anthropology. I love life and the outdoors and to smile.

Why I am a Mormon

I had to choose… with a lot of pulling at pride I started to read the Book of Mormon. The more I read the more peace I felt, the more I felt the peace the better I felt inside and knew that I could be forgiven and came to know that I could have a relationship with God and His Son. I just had to forgive myself and offer my will up to God. The Book of Mormon has changed my life! I feel free and light. I have a stronger relationship with Christ. I know that I am a daughter of God all because of that book. It has changed my life for the better. That is why I am a member because of the Book of Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by giving others joy and by letting them see my light that shines inside of me! I help by doing and organizing activates in the community with member and non-member. Some of the fun service projects I have done is find widowed women and visit them for mother’s day and heart attack the other mothers that just need a little love. I live my Faith by telling others about the Book of Mormon and what it has done for me. I have lived my faith but running the coolest youth camp in the world AFY (adventures for youth, at BYUI) there is nothing more powerful and amazing like helping others come unto Christ and teaching the youth of tomorrow how and why to come unto Him.

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

The Holy Ghost is my best friend given to me when I made a covenant or a promise to the Father and Christ that I would follow the standards that I was taught. The Holy Ghost never lies to me, never leads me astray, He teaching me, comforts me, and lastly He is a perfect gentleman who never goes where He is not welcome. The very moment I walk away from God to break a commandment He leaves me until I repent. How the Holy Ghost speaks is by the words we know. That little voice in our head that tells us right from wrong... that’s him. The feeling that warns you of trouble... that’s Him. Show more Show less
