Hi I'm David Cannon Wright

I am the baby of 13, I'm in Florida serving a mission! I love my family and friends and guess what? I am a Mormon

About Me

I was raised of goodly parents. in Draper, Utah. My mom is a saint enough said. My dad is just the nicest man you'll ever meet. They taught me the importance of working hard, as well as all my older brothers and sisters totaling 13! Being the last of 13 kids in the family I had a lot of older brothers (10) and sisters (3) to look up to. I attended preschool and completed that. I also went to Draper Elementary and Crescent View Middle School, the awkward years, and then finished my schooling for the time being at Alta High School. My favorite thing to do is to be with either friends or family and just having a good time. Whether is be a Razor Scooter ride from SLC to Draper or going on road trips to Las Vegas and then to Pirates Cove and then continuing onward to the great Lake Powell! Other hobbies include mountain biking, hiking, canoing, going to the Alpine bike jump, Mona Rope Swing, and shoot the tube, and just talking the night away with friends or family. My family is probably the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. We are all very close and always have a good time. Family and friends, enough said.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church just as is almost all the kids in Utah. I always loved church and attending the various activities with the young men and the youngm women programs the church offers. I did everything envovled with the chruch up to the point to where I am today on my volunter service mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I look back at my whole life up to this point and recognized that my life was really the best life anyone could ask for. Almost all of that has to contribute to the fact that I was so blessed to be raised in the church and have the best parents, family, friends who shared the same values. It all comes back to be a disciple of our Lord and Redeemer Jesus Christ. Knowing that we have a loving Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ always watching over you helps you understand who you are and how you should be living your life. I choose to be a Mormon because this is where the true doctrines are taught and the fulness of the gospel to help us understand even more the importance of their love.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday by just trying to do what Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father would have me do. I have been very envolved with the church in certain programs such as feeding the homeless in down town Salt Lake City, collecting Bibles for the Katrina victims in 2005 and everything in btween. I now am serving a mission for the Church in Orlando Florida and can honestly say that this is the best thing anyone can do in their life. Forgetting yourself and just serving and loving everyone that is around you even if you do not know them or not helps you become more of who you need to be and also who you really are. I love losing myself in this work!
