Hi I'm Stephanie

I grew up in the island of Formosa, go to college in the States. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student with Accounting Major. I work and study at the same time. Since I was 19, I started my new life journey of studying aboard. As a result, I have a lot of friends from different counties. I love to read magazines, listen to musics whenever I'm able to. I love soft music with a little bit of R&B. Sometimes, classic music is good for me. My favorite thing to do when I'm free is to shop online! Shopping is the best part of my life I feel! I really enjoy my life!

Why I am a Mormon

I grow up in a family that both of my parents are converted into this church before they were even married. They have a such strong testimony about the church and the book of Mormon; however, I was not really into the church. One summer, nothing was really going on with me but I thought of something about having a religion. One things came into my mind which is "If you are not a Mormon, you are Anti-Mormon." I started thinking about the questions about God. And I know that God lives, he must have given his people a truth. So, the question came into my mind "where is the true?" That night, i tried praying to God and asked him for helping me to find the way that he wants me to go. I began to read my book of Mormon which I have been having for years. But one thing different is that I had such a different feeling that night and every concern in my mind was solved. And I know that this is right way and true church that God has prepared for me.

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon, there are so many things that I learn within this huge community. Since I was at the age of 15 or even younger. We started holding and in charge activities for the young people in our area. I have learned so much about leadership, time management, and even budgeting! Also, I was able to meet with many people and work with them. It's really different from the regular school life. Also, I have had so many opportunities of doing service project, helping the elderly cleaning their houses and chatting with them. Moreover, in the church, I have made many good friends that have the same standard with me. We help each other on different perspective of life not just for benefits but for real friendship. I am able to learn form these wonderful ladies about improving my life, becoming a better person, setting more goals to achieve, and getting ready for marriage. Even learning for becoming a skilled mother.
