Hi I'm Vincent

I was born and raised in San Francisco. I am a student, a musician, and an athlete. And yes, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in San Francisco to a Taiwanese mom and a Taiwanese dad. I am currently studying Integrative Biology and Music at the University of California, Berkeley, as a pre-dental student. During my own spare time, I love playing the piano to music like Chopin, Rachmaninoff, and Bach. I also play competitive table tennis. To me, both are great stress relievers.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 5 years old, missionaries came knocking on my door one day. When my mom answered the door, she was surprised to see two handsome young white men speaking near perfect Mandarin. She let them in, though she probably didn't care about the content of the message they brought. All she wanted at first was the hear them speak more Chinese. However, it wasn't too long later did my mom realize that the message they brought was indeed unique. They talked of eternal families? She couldn't understand much of it at first but because of what she felt, she continued to listen until she was able to comprehend all of it. And that was the beginning of my journey in church. Since then, I have felt the blessings from the gospel every day in my life. God, our loving Heavenly Father really does exist, and you won't ever know what true love is until you get to know him.

How I live my faith

If only you realized how much strength this gospel gives me every day. Prophet Gordon B. Hincley once said "you need to be different from the world to make a difference in the world." As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I try to be the best example I can to those around me. I strive to teach them how to better their life, so that they can receive ALL the blessings of the gospel.
