Hi I'm Dallin Redd

I love to cook, I love to learn, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a huge Family. 10 brothers and sisters. I love to cook and to learn how to do new things. With a family of 10 you have to make a lot of food all the time and so I was taught how to cook over the years by my mom and mostly just by trial and error. Its really cool when you can throw all these random ingredients together and make something that will taste so good. It's kind of like Life in a way, everyone you meet is just another random ingredient and when you mix them all together you tend to get something really good from it.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a morman because everything in the church just makes sense. I've visited some other churches and talked about other religious beliefs and the Morman church just makes sense. It is really nice to be in a church where really only two things set you apart. Revelation and Authority. Those are the two things that set Mormans apart from any other church. With out Revelation, where would we be? It isn't really fun to be told what to do in your life by a preacher or someone like that, but it is very different when God tells you what you need to do in your life. Personal Revelation comes through prayer and we are all able to have it. We just need to be doing the right things and actually change our life to the answers we recieve. Then Authority is another big thing. If we didn't have the Preisthood Authority in our life then when we are baptized, it wouldn't have any significance to us or to God. You have to go to the ice-cream man to get ice-cream not to the police officer. Its the same in the church.

How I live my faith

Right not I live my faith by doing the best I can and help out others when I come across someone that needs help. I am not perfect by any means and I struggle just like any other guy, but the most important thing is that I strive to become better everyday. When You fall, get back up and try it again.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Dallin Redd
Mormons do not only help Mormons, They help everyone. In my life I like to be around the non-members a lot more than the members. It adds a little more interest to the conversation. Non-members tend to need more service or appreciate it a lot more and I feel a lot better after helping the non-members out with yard work or just chatting with them. Show more Show less
