Why I am a Mormon

Although all my hobbies, plans, and dreams have played a large role in making me who I am, I owe even more to my religion. Although I was raised a Mormon, I have come to accept the teachings of the Church for myself; it makes sense to my head and to my heart. From numerous experiences throughout my life, I have recieved a witness from God Himself that this is the direction I need to take my life. I've learned that God is our Father, and if we follow the advice given in James 1:5, He will give us specific, personal answers to our questions, whatever they may be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in simple ways. I go to church on Sunday. I pray morning and night. I don't let a day go by without reading something from the scriptures. But more than that, my faith is also what I'm striving to become, the father, leader, and servant of others that I want with all my heart to become. I want to be the hero that's divinely inspired in a time of crisis to come to the aid of my friends, family, and fellowmen. I know that I can only be transformed into a person like that through the grace of Jesus Christ and my own choices. Therefore, I have made these two things the focus of my life.
