Hi I'm Jeff.

I love all sports, watch NBA daily. Family means everything. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love this life. I feel like the times when I am the most happy is when I am just doing something. I am really competitive, and love to play games. I have played every sport from baseball to bowling, and I love to play until I get good at something. I really love pressure, especially in tournaments. I have played in volleyball, soccer, baseball, basketball, ping pong, and even video game tournaments, and I just love that feeling. I am trying hard to like school more, because in the past I always thought it was a waste of time. Right now I am going to college at Brigham Young University studying accounting. I really like hagning out with friends. Sometimes I probably stay up too late hanging out, but I think relationships are the most important thing in this life. My best friends are my family members. I have 5 sisters and a mom and dad. They are all great. I learn special lessons from each of them that let me know how I can be a better person.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have seen the changes it has made in my life. I have always wanted to be the best at everything. I think in the past I was very prideful. It hurt relationships, hurt opportunities, and changed the way that I felt about myself. I found that as I live simple principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ, I developed a desire to be more humble, to care more about others, and to find drive to be more successful for the right reasons. I also love the principle of family. Because of the gospel of Jesus Christ, because of the doctrine of restored authority from God, I know that my family can be together forever. The relationship that I have with my beautiful sisters, my loving mother, and my awesome father cannot be realized in the short period of 50, 70, or even 100 years. I know that the Lord has planned and prepared so that families can literally live and grow together throughout time and all eternity. I look forward to starting a family of my own someday, and being able to share the peace and glad message that this gospel brings with my children. I know that the gospel is true, I know that God lives, that he has a personal relationship with me, and desires for my success. I know that Jesus is the Son of God, and that he came to earth to help Heavenly Father fulfil his plan in "bringing to pass the immortality and eternal life of man". I love this church, I love the Lord, I love his plan for me and the peace that it brings. Because of all these blessings, I came to Taiwan for 2 years so that I could share this gospel with others.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving the Lord daily. Since the time that I knew the church was true, I have been preparing to serve a mission. Our church knows that God wants all his children, EVERYWHERE to know of all his precious truths. Members of our church can choose to serve as a missionary for the lord, and help him fulfill this purpose. I chose that I wanted to dedicate two years of my life and serve him with all my hearat, might, mind, and strength. I was sent to Taiwan to serve and preach the gospel. On a daily basis, I have the priviledge of sharing the truths that have changed my life, and the blessings that come from those changes. I love all of the time that I have already spent here in Taiwan, and look forward to staying here and continue sharing this message. The more I teach, the more I love the work.
