Hi I'm Aimee

I am a college student. And I love ANYTHING artsy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the third oldest of 6 children. My Father is in the Military so we moved about every two years while I was growing up. I am a college student and am majoring in Studio Arts, emphasizing in 3d. But I also love painting, drawing, printing, photography...basically anything to do with art!

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in a military family, my life was in constant motion. Nothing ever really stayed the same. Except two things however: my family and the gospel. When nothing else in my life is constant, the Church is. Even though my surroundings, my friends, my school, my house, my job, and everything else around me changed, the Gospel did not. No matter where I was in the world I knew Jesus Christ loved me and He died for me regardless of what my circumstances were. And now, even though I live apart from my family, nothing has changed. The Gospel is still true. Jesus Christ still loves me. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ is indeed the Church of Jesus Christ. I know that He lived and died for me. He died for me; an insignificant little girl who probably won't amount to much. But, I know I am worth the world to Him. Because of that knowledge I am always striving to become better and become like Him. I try to follow His example in everything I do. I am so grateful for everything my Savior did, does, and continues to do for me. I know that He lives.

How I live my faith

In my ward I teach the adult women on Sundays. And I love it! One of the things I love most about it is that I always feel the great love Heavenly Father has for His daughters. It is overwhelming! And I try to share that love with the women each Sunday. I also visit teach two Sisters in my ward. Although it is technically called Visiting Teaching, for me it is more two automatic friends. We grow close through the months and I soon find that even though I am serving them, I feel like I'm being served too. I gain wonderful friends, learn new things, and feel like I am appreciated and needed in my ward. Visiting Teaching is not only good for those you visit teach, it is amazing for the visiting teachers too!

Are Mormons Christians?

Mormons most definitely Christians. The correct name of the Mormon church is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We believe that this church is Christ's church. I personally am a Christian. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. Show more Show less
