Hi I'm Jerry

I enjoy playing ultimate and volleyball. I'm an older brother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love playing sports with my friends. In high school I competed in basketball and volleyball. Now, I enjoy pick up ultimate games at the park as a way to relax. I'm currently enrolled in college studying engineering. I come from a close family and I enjoy being able to spend time with them. I am taking a break from school to serve as a missionary for my church, but I still have been able to strengthen my relationship with them.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are members of this church. Growing up, they taught me using the words of the scriptures and of the living prophets. As they did this, I saw how the teachings, particularly of the modern day prophets, blessed my life. Through doing this, praying, and studying the Book of Mormon, I received a confirming witness that this is God's church. As I drew myself unto Him, He drew himself to me.

How I live my faith

In the past, I had the chance to serve as a teacher in a class for teenaged young men. I was able to spend time every month visiting some needy members of my congregation and helping them with their physical and spiritual needs. As a missionary, I am able to represent my Savior every day. I do this both by teaching people about his gospel and through involvement in community service like teaching English.
