Hi I'm Trinity Eide

I was raised in Northern California. I love laughing, the outdoors, theater, and my family. I'm a missionary and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a Northern California girl, born and raised. I have 6 siblings (some adopted) and 4 step-siblings. There's never a dull moment in my life. Currently I'm taking 18 months out of my busy school schedule and family life to serve a full time mission in the Virginia Chesapeake Mission and I love it! I have many interests and hobbies but am always trying new things. I enjoy performing arts, science, and just learning in general. I love to decorate cakes, hike, camp, sing, dance, and to serve and get to know others. I'm majoring in Sociology and have a great interest in the Deaf culture. The Gospel hasn't always been the center of my life but through struggles and blessings I've come to know who I am and how the Gospel IS every bit of the life I have been given.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of the Church because I know it is true. I was born into the church and fell away at a young age. Through the passing of my father and numerous trials in my family and in my life I have found my own testimony of the Gospel. I love learning of the truths in the Church and do my best to live my life as I carry the name of Christ with me. It is not easy to choose the right path but it is worth it. I face challenges every day that are incredibly hard to overcome but I do it because I know with more surety than I have of anything else that this Church is true, that we have a living prophet to help us along the way, and that Christ atoned for us and wants us to come home to Him and be worthy to abide with Him.

How I live my faith

Throughout the time that I have been an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I have served in many different capacities and loved each one. As a teenager I served as a leader to my age group of girls and learned skills in leadership and charity. I've served as the children's chorister and also in the community at a non-profit children's musical theater group. Currently I teach Gospel Principles, a Sunday School class directed towards those new to the basic principles of this Gospel or those searching to find a better understandings of the basics. Being the teacher I actually find that I learn more and more myself each week. I also serve as a visiting teacher where I go into the homes of some of the sisters and get to know them and teach them through a personal level. This opportunity has helped me to build friendships and given me the time to serve them in any way I can. I was called to serve a full-time mission in the North Carolina Raleigh Mission but was soon switched over to the newly formed Virginia Chesapeake Mission. I will be over here serving coastal Virginia and North Carolina for 18 months with my primary focus being to bring others unto Christ, perform compassionate and charitable service, and share the truths I know.
