Hi I'm Liz Joblin

I grew up in a large family who moved around to find a place called home. I moved again to chase my dream in NYC. & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was going to school in Texas for Vocal Performance when I decided that it was time to start my career. Most people probably would've stayed to finish college and then maybe would've moved to Dallas to slip into the business. Not me. I'm crazy awesome like that. If you haven't figured it out by now, I'm a performer. I sing and act. So, like any crazy, dream-hungry person does, I moved to The Big Apple to chase my dreams. I'm not trying to get famous. I only want to be paid for doing what I love. Not a horribly impossible thing, I think. So I work and audition. During my downtime I love to explore the city. having adventures and doing things I've never done before.

Why I am a Mormon

Being born into the church and having twenty-one years of experience in it means that I'm perfect. Really. Okay. more like really not. But being in the church has made me a far better person than I could have been without it. It's been the one consistent thing in my life that I can always count on. The people in the church aren't perfect either, but the gospel is. It's what gets me through the hard times and helps me continue to grow in this life. It's my rock.

How I live my faith

I just got called to be on The Membership Committee which means I greet people at church, help with the program, and set up activities such as the Linger Longer that we do the first Sunday of every month, where we get to eat at the church after the service. In NYC it's easy to get busy with everything that goes on, but being in my calling helps me to stay involved in church and remember where the most important place is.
