Hi I'm Andrew Campbell

I love to sing and dance. Music is my passion! I am Mac nerd. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a only child with a Single Mom as a parent. I was raised in San Diego and finished growing up in the Redlands area. I have loved music all my life. I started playing the Alto Saxophone in 5th grade, then got into the piano in middle school. I was in marching band all through then, and then my freshman year of High School. I continued in band but switched to choir my junior year, and then got into men's show choir. And I was on a competition dance team for a year. So I sing and dance all the time. I love cars, especially fast super cars! My immediate family is my Mom and Grandma. I attended Cal State University San Bernardino for 2 years as a music technology major. I love Mac computers and pretty much any Apple product. I enjoy spending time with friends and hanging out together. And I have grown so much in my faith of the Savior and the truth of the Restoration of the Gospel through the Prophet Joseph Smith within these last few years.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, because my Grandparents were converts and I'm the 2nd generation to be raised in the Church. I always enjoyed church as a child and I continued to feel love and acceptance from the members of my ward. I would feel the Holy Ghost or the Spirit of God and these good feelings that were the love of God when I went to church and heard the testimonies of the members there. I have been an active church attender all of my life, but was not always an active participant of the Gospel.

How I live my faith

I am right now serving a full-time mission. I started in the Utah Ogden Mission and am finishing in the Utah Salt Lake City Mission. Before that I would not swear, or party like some of the other people I went to school with. I tried to follow the standards that Christ taught and the modern day standards that have been outlined from the leaders we have today (our Prophet and Apostles). By doing that people saw that I an my other LDS friends were different. Once a month another gentleman and I would go and visit some families in the ward and share a spiritual message with them. As a missionary, I have given up technology for 2 years (no iPhone, internet, computer, cell phone, ANYTHING!!). We don't get on Facebook, about the only communication with our family is to e-mail once a week. We don't have girlfriends, don't see or talk to our friends. We give up these things to serve the Lord. So my 2 year mission preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ is how I am currently living my faith.
