Hi I'm Tyrell Barker

I grew up on a Farm. I love to eat. I love sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a little town in Utah called Willard. I am definatly a small town kinda guy. I love everthing that goes along with that from riding horses to shooting guns. I guess you could say i am quite the cowboy. I have the boots and belt buckle to prove it. I have a big loving family. The family dosent really leave Willard, which makes some of the biggest most fun family parties that you can ask for. I love playin and watching sports. The only exception to that rule is Golf and Soccer. Those are not fun. But other than that you can find me playin catch, shootin around in the backyard, or playin football.

Why I am a Mormon

So i have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints my whole life. I have seen the blessings that it can bring into a someones life and and an entire family by following the Gospel Of Jesus Christ and living our lives in the way that our Heavenly Father intends us too. Just because i was born into the chruch doesnt mean that i am just following a tradition, or just because its a good idea (which it is). I have come to know for myself of the truthfulness that the chruch has. How i found for myself if the chruch was true was by studing the Book Of Mormon and prarying to know if it was true, with a sincere heart and real intent to act on the answer that i recieved. As i prayed I felt the Holy Ghost testify to me that this is the Church of Jesus Christ restored on the earth today, and that we do indeed have a living Prophet to lead and guid us. There are only blessings to be found when we come to know for ourselves of the validity of the message of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in a way that my Heavenly Father knows I am doing to best to follow him every day not just on sundays. I have been envolved in youth programs, I have visited the homes of people of my faith to share testimony and help them grow, and now I am a Missionary in the Houston Texas South Mission of the Church so others can have the same blessings that I have been givin.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Tyrell Barker
Family is something that is very special to me. I Dont know where i would be without my family to help me along the path. Sometimes we may have challenges in our familys but we can find the joy and strengh that we couldnt find anywhere else other than inside the walls of our own home with our families.Somethinig that our Chruch teaches is that we can live with our families forever. Heaven wouldnt be heaven without my family there with me. I know that we can be together forever. Show more Show less
