Hi I'm Kelsey

I grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I am a histology technician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I went to college in New Jersey were I majored in Laboratory Animal Science with a minor in Equine Science. I was on the university Equestrian team. In High School I played soccer and was in the marching band playing the flute. I was also in several high school musicals, concert choir, and in an accapella group.

Why I am a Mormon

As a child of divorced parents, I grew up with two religious backgrounds. I went to the LDS church with my mother, but when I was at my father's, every other weekend, I would go to Catholic church with him. When I was younger I prefered the Catholic church because it was only an hour out of my day and after church Sunday was just like any other day and I could do what I wanted. As I matured, I related more to the principles of the LDS church and I appreciated that religion was more than just one hour taken out of my day every week.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day. I have a calling to teach 4 year-olds Sunday school which I have to study and prepare lessons and activities for. I am also a visiting teacher. I am assigned to three wonderful ladies who I visit with atleast once a month. I also try to keep in touch with them and help out if they are ever in need.
