Hi I'm Scott

I play the clarinet and saxophone. I teach marching band. I'm going to serve a mission in Lima, Peru. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of seven. I have three brothers and three sisters. Some think my parents are crazy but I'm grateful that they had all of us. I was born in California, lived there until age four, moved to Utah for seven years and my father's work brought us to Colorado. While living in Colorado, my family still owned our home in Utah and we moved back into that home a few years ago. I attended high school in Colorado at Douglas County high school and in Utah at American Fork high school. I attended Utah Valley University for one year before my mission and I have taught marching band at Lone Peak High School since the summer of 2014.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and have been raised as an active member and work to strengthen my testimony and share the gospel with others. I've seen the gospel change the lives of many around me. Although I've never seen an angel or had any extraordinary event to build my testimony, I have worked at it slowly over time and I have a strong belief that the gospel is true. I love the principles that the church teaches and the example that Jesus Christ has set for me.

How I live my faith

Many people believe that our religion teaches crazy doctrine and forces members to do things against their will. They don't. I attend three hours of church every Sunday, and I an the first counselor in the leadership of the boys ages 14 dvds 15.
