Hi I'm Russell Hayes

I enjoy contemplating life and its workings, I eat Graham Crackers & Milk, I climb Rocks and I'm a Latter-Day Saint.

About Me

Well I was raised in the valley of Arizona but grew up in Zimbabwe Africa as I served my 2 years as a Missionary. I have a family of 7 that I hold dear, me being the youngest of 5 kids. I have learned allot from them all. I have many passions. My whole life I have been on a constant quest for an adrenaline rush. It has taken me through many different hobbies and sports. Among those are Longboarding, Riding little kids bikes, Snowboarding, Wakeboarding, cliff Jumping, Rugby and Rock climbing. All of these things have played a big role in my life. On the other side, the feeling of a few people coming together with musical Instruments and talents and meshing together creative ideas really moves me. Music is, was and always will be a huge part of my life. I love bands such as.... The Shins, Fleet Foxes, The Band of Horses, Cold War Kids, As Tall As Lions, Bombay Bicycle Club, Modest Mouse, Surfer Blood, Tallest Man Alive, The Dodos, The Dirty Projectors... And sooooooo many more. Camping, Backpacking, Scaling a Rock Face, sitting around a fire, the great outdoors. It amazes me how God created all the beauty of the earth around us. I need to see it all.. And I will capture it all on my Film Camera. That's me and I'm beginning my career in Business Management, Health Science and Network Marketing. Nationally and internationally.

Why I am a Mormon

Cause of the many experiences I've been through that have made it evident that God is there and he watches over me. Because of the awesome Family that I have and because the Book of Mormon is the word of God. There is absolutely no way it could be false. I choose to believe and always will.

How I live my faith

Faith in Jesus Christ, Repenting of my sins, remembering my Baptismal Covenant, and doing it all over again. The Gospel has taken me from a cold dark life I was living to a brilliant, vivid and colorful way of life where there is so much to wake up to every morning. I grew up in the church but never embraced it till I was 17. My life will never be the same. It connects all the dots for me.
