Hi I'm Ciera Michelle

I grew up in California. I'm a little sister. I'm a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently enrolled in an out-of-state college, so I miss my family most of the year while I am gone. I absolutely love my schooling though, I'm studying Psychology with a Business minor in hopes that I will get a job in HR. Although I am young now, I want more than anything to raise my own family. I love kids and I really want to be a mother. I actually work with kids right now, in a day care, and I'm learning so much for when I raise my own family. Besides work and school I enjoy lots of little things, like singing, dancing, piano, photography, and time with my friends and family. I love trying new things and I have lots of energy that helps me be excited for all of the many things I take part in. I drive a stick-shift and I love Dr. Pepper. I like bright colors and I love music, especially listening to Cartel. I have lots of little quirks like that, too. All-in-all I love new things, new people, and new places. But I'll always love the old ones too.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because the Holy Ghost has testified to me on numerous occasions of the truthfulness of this gospel. I was born in the church and I have watched the way people like my mother, and many others, have loved and lived the gospel and this has brought me an even stronger conviction of this gospel. I know in my heart and my mind that this gospel is true and I know it because of past experiences and through my continued choice to live the gospel. I can feel the Lord's love for me when I choose to follow His teachings and doctrines which are the teachings and doctrines of this church. I am constantly reminded that what I have chosen to live is God's true church, God's true religion and love. I'm a mormon because I feel the love of the Lord and the presence of the Holy Ghost when I live this gospel.

How I live my faith

Every day I strive to come closer to my Savior through the teachings of this church. I try to make my prayers meaningful because I know my loving Heavenly Father is listening. I try to spend time in my prayers telling Him how thankful I am for the many wonderful blessings He has given me. I also try to tell Him of the wonderful things that have happened to me because this helps me to feel closer to Him. Another way that I live my faith and come closer to my Heavenly Father is through service opportunities. In my singles ward at college, I am able to see so many others in need, just as I am, being away from home and poor college students. I try to be sensitive to the needs of the girls around me and I am given the opportunity to focus on two girls in my ward especially. I get to visit them and try and uplift their day at least once a month. I try to show constant love to these girls because I want to be an instrument in the Lord's hands and I know He would show an incromprehensible amount of love and care for them. So I try to show at least a small portion of this love to them and I try to stay in tune to their needs so they can always have someone to call on for help. God loves us and through Him we are never alone and I want to be able to remind everyone around me of this fact. I live my faith by trying to be an instrument in the Lord's hands.
