Hi I'm Gabby

I was born in Utah and moved to Colorado. I am a musician and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music! I play the violin and piano. I also sing. Music has been a huge part of my life. I started piano when I was 2 years old and violin when I was 3 years old. I have played my instruments for people of all ages. I like to read and draw on my free time. I read all sorts of books and I draw anything from flowers to animals to people. I enjoy doing outdoor activities with my family like hiking, swimming, and sports. I really like playing soccer, basketball and volleyball. I'm definitely not a pro at them, but I still have fun learning how to play them. I love to laugh! I have so much fun with my family and my friends. I laugh at the smallest things even when others don't really think it's funny. I love spending time with my sisters and brothers too! We have such a good time talking and laughing together.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, But just because I was born into it didn't mean I knew it was true right away. I always had good feelings when I went to Church and said my prayers and read the Book of Mormon. Because of all of the habits I made when I was young-with the support of my family- I was able to gain this testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ that I have today. I know that Christ lives and loves me. I know that the plan of salvation that he made for us was made because he loves us and wants us to be happy. I am thankful for the pure love of Christ and the love our Heavenly Father has for us. I know that if we use our agency the right way to choose the right we will be able to live with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ again with resurrected bodies. I know that families can live forever. I don't know what I would do without my family. I love them and I know that they love me. I know that by small and simple things, great things are brought to pass. Small acts of service can lift anyone and it gives me the warm, happy feeling of the Holy Ghost when I love all of the other children of God. I want to treat everyone with love and kindness because, as Jesus said "In as much as ye have done it unto the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me". I want to love Christ. I know He loves me. I say these things in his name, Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

The biggest way I live my faith is by following Gods commandments and being a good example at all times and in all things and in all places. I love to serve those around me no matter who they are. I love helping people feel Christs love, even if it is in small ways. I am a secretary for the group of girls from 12 to 18 called the Young Women. I, as well as a few other girls and a few leaders, help organize the activities for this group of girls. We try to make them as fun as I can to help the girls be happy. We have one night a week where we do these activities. We also try to put things into our activities that will help strengthen our testimonies and things that will help us develop skills we will need in our daily lives. I love to help others in any way I can

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He atoned for our sins so that we can live with Him and Heavenly Father again if we choose to use his atonement. Because of His Atonement and Resurrection we can be re-united with our bodies forever in a perfect form. Show more Show less

What is faith?

Faith is the belief in things which are not seen, which are true. Faith is to have trust and confidence in Heavenly Father. Faith is an action. It must be shown through things that are done. Show more Show less
