Hi I'm Ed

I'm a husband, father, baseball fan and PGA member. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am one of the fortunate men that married "up" to my beautiful wife who happens to be my best friend as well. We have been married over 22 years and our relationship just keeps getting better. We are the adoptive parents of a handsome 14 year old boy that keeps us on our toes every single day. I am a member of the PGA of America and have been employed in the golf business for over 20 years. I love baseball (especially coaching or watching my son play), golf, hanging out at the pool, camping and taking vacations with family to the beach or camping in the mountains.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Catholic church and although I believed in Christ I never really had a testimony of my own. I began going to the Mormon church to help my wife get our young son to church because I knew it was good for him to go. They say things happen when it's the right time and it quickly became my time. I began to feel the Spirit almost immediately as I listened to the music and lessons. Everything that I was being taught made so much sense. I am so grateful for the Atonement because I often wondered if I would be able to go to heaven after some of the mistakes I have made in life. It gives me great comfort to know that the family is eternal and we can all return to live with our Heavenly Father. And I know we have the Savior to thank for that.

How I live my faith

I have only been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for a year and a half. I am so blessed to have so many new friends in the church that are such good examples of how you live your faith. I try to follow them by being a good example to my peers outside of the church as well as to the youth that I work with. I have been called to work with the young men in our ward and have learned so much from them as well. I believe we live our faith by putting others before ourselves.
