Hi I'm Issa

I live in NYC, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am Mormon, my parents became members when I was 6 months old From what I've been a member almost my whole life. I was born in Dominican Republic and I came to the U S 8 years ago, I am a proud mother of a beautiful girl who is the light of my eyes. I like to go out to have fun with my daughter, she loves going to the park for jogging and jumping. For fun I like to go to the movies, travel and learn new things...

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ has brought happiness, peace and security in my life, it has been a light and a guide in the darkness that is in the world, I understood that there is a God who loves all his children who live and had lived on Earth, that has devised a plan for us, his sons that we are saved and return again to his presence through the great sacrifice of our savior Jesus Christ. Through the gospel I have learned and experienced wonderful things that have made me see life in a different way. I have found the answers to the most frequently asked questions by human being, Where do I come from, What is the purpose of my life, Where I'm I going after I die. I found out that life does not ends at death and it comforts me to know that families can be eternal and to know that there is a supreme being that understands me more than anyone else, that is my faithful friend and that is always ready to listen and to help me in moments of need. The Church of Jesus Christ has blessed my life, I have learned that through the atonement of Jesus I can repent of my sins and receive the forgiveness of God. I know that Jesus Christ lives, I have no doubt and I think that the most important event in my life has been to know his gospel, for it has helped me in my trials and difficult times of my life, it has always helped me see the right path to follow. And I know every living person has the opportunity to have these blessings in their lives.

How I live my faith

Currently I teach the kids from 8 to 11 years old at Church, in this class they learn about the Bible, the Book Of Mormon and other principles that help them understand the importance of choosing the right in their lives. I also try to attend to Church meetings every Sunday and other activities held at Church, it strengthen my faith to do these things.
