Hi I'm Hannah Mary

I like spinach and myself. Cross-fitter. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a daughter of Heavenly Father. It's true! He loves me and I love him. I am a daughter to two earthly parents who love me. Also I am a sister to 2 girls and 3 boys. I'm number 4 of 6. My parents are so supportive of me and all the things I choose to pursue. I just love them so much. I am a violinist, and of just recent, a violist. Since I was 6 I have been pursuing my love in music. I have the opportunity to take my love of music to college and on my mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Hawaii! I am so excited to serve. But I wont lie, soak up some sun as well. I am an athlete. I love running and playing soccer. My sisters and I are planning to do an Iron Man in 2020. That gives me a few years to train, do a few marathons until then. I am sort of hungry right now. I think I'll make myself a bowl of oatmeal. Cut up some bananas in it with a dollop of peanut butter... mmmm. Hit the spot. I ride my bike to school, kind of a nerd like that but hey it's efficient! Some of my favorite books have been the Star Belly Sneaches, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Outsiders, Princess Bride and the Book of Mormon. Not a huge movie fan, I'll be honest! I always end up falling asleep. I'd rather spend a night playing games, making something, or going on an adventure. I believe in being loyal to the ones closest to me, loving, laughing, and forgiving. I am Hannah and I am a Mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because God's church is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I can only bear testimony that it contains a fullness of the gospel according to the witness I've received personally through prayer and study and exercising faith in my savior. I have never seen God with my eye balls, but his existence is manifested all around me: in what Mormons stand for, in priesthood power, in fasting and prayer, in testimony, in the restoration of the church through Joseph Smith, in beautiful music. On a hike up the canyon, all the blessing I'm so incredibly fortunate to have, my talents, my family, opportunities to grow, good times and trying times. It just makes sense! God loves us so much. Of course he's given us us a way to return to live with Him, AND it's our choice. God is about freedom, Satan is about bondage. We have a way to be freed from that bondage and enjoy everlasting life with Him who created us, through His son Jesus Christ. And this is Christ's Church. That's why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

"I know it, I live it, I love it." I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints since I was eight years old. I've been learning about the gospel my whole life and I am still continuing to learn about my faith; through personal scripture study each day, attending church, the temple, but mostly from putting what I learn into practice, week after week implementing the principles I'm taught by the spirit. I should be perfect by now, right? Well, doesn't look like that's going to happen anytime soon, but thanks to the atonement I can repent when I mess up and continue to move forward after I do. I have faith in Jesus Christ, so I follow his commandments to show my love for him. I pray to develop a relationship with my Father in Heaven and read his words from his prophets in the scriptures.
