Hi I'm Ben-Jammin

I love rockin in a band and playing sports with the fellas, ohhh yeah and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student at the current moment just trying to make my way through classes and working to catch the ladies' eyes like every other guy. I love singing in my rock band and playing all sports with the fellas. I also am a big lover of the lazy day activities such as fishing and golfing. I'm just always looking for the next adventure.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up where I did in New Orleans where the church was not as well known as out west caused me to begin questioning my faith as many of my non-LDS friends in school found enjoyment in constantly telling Mormon jokes. I took them in stride but I really began to wonder why I was enduring the constant ridicule if I wasn't completely sure this church was true. So, like many others in a state of confusion, I began trying to study for an answer to my question. Through study and evaluating what mattered most to me in life- which ended up being with my family- I found through a youth trip to Nauvoo and a powerful experience that this church is in fact the true church on the earth today which does provide a way for us to be with our families forever; this knowledge led to my conversion and the ability to continue to live my religion despite at times cruel jokes because I knew the church is the true and I'm not afraid to share the knowledge that I have that this gospel blesses families with any and all people.

How I live my faith

I have done my best within my church community to befriend other members as I know many of them, like I, need support and friendship through home-teaching and being a ward missionary. As of recently, I have accepted the call to go do much the same for the people of Alaska as I fulfill a full-time mission. Within the community, I take many opportunities to participate in positive recreational events and service projects as my desire to befriend others is not just limited to those of my faith. I mostly live my faith by doing my best to imitate The Savior by being kind to everyone around me.
