Hi I'm Chris

I grew up in Utah, live in California. I am a college student, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love anything to do with my creative side: piano, composing, sketching, drawing, designing, drafting, writing, reading. I love sports, especially Frisbee. I play Frisbee when ever possible. Although video games is not a big part of my life, it is still part of my life, I love to play adventure and combat games on small occasions, and I never let games take over my life. I love hiking, biking, climbing, repelling, camping, swimming, and cliff jumping? As you can see, I am usually outdoors and love being there. I am currently a student at BYU-Idaho, where I am studying Mechanical Engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

All though I have grown up in the church and been a member my whole life, I did have to decide for myself whether it was the right thing or not. I always figured I would go on a mission, but two years ago when I turned sixteen, I really had to decide for myself if what I am going to teach was true or not. Yes, I did spend many of my scripture studies searching through James 1:5, and spent a lot of time pondering and praying on it, and I thought I was never getting a straight answer from God. Till finally, during one of my studies, I just knew it was true, I had been thinking about my mission and about how I had always felt obligated to go on one, but that day I had begun to feel excited about going on one, and I knew that in my heart, that God has a plan for us and if we follow Him, we will be able to return to Him one day. I am still so excited to go and bring others unto Christ, and to see the joy in their eyes when they receive His Gospel.

How I live my faith

I had opportunities, even in the young age I am, to help strengthen other youth while in my callings. I was asked to be a youth representative on our stake's youth committee where I was able to interact with all the different types of youth in our church, and I have been given other leadership responsibilities in which I have been able to strengthen others lives, and in turn, they have all strengthened my life through their faith in God and their love for others.
