Hi I'm Carson

I am filled with joy, and preparing for the rest of my life to be awesome! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a Mormon all my life. I recently returned from the country of Armenia where I served the Lord for a successful 2 years. I'm a Sophomore in College and loving it. I love to smile and share the gospel with those I meet. I'm a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it was what I was grown up in. I know the Church is true and the only true Church on the earth today. I know Joseph Smith restored the Gospel through Jesus Christ, and Heavenly Father. I'm thankful to have the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost with me. It is my guide. It keeps my mind on the things that right and true. I love the support of my friends that I recieve through hard times. I'm thankful I was brought up in the Church. I love who I am, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by actively striving to be happy. I smile to those around me, and say hello to all I see. I don't fall into peer pressure very easily, and I don't do anything I don't want to or feel is right. I have high standards and I do not lower them. I go to Church every week and do all I can to receive all the knowledge from the gospel. I read through either the Book of Mormon or the Ensign (an LDS magazine) each day.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Carson
For me personally I have had my faith grow when I read from Church published works(The Book of Mormon, The Bible, member experiences, etc.). Every morning I start my day with an hour of faith building time. In this time I find ways that I can better help those around me. I read from those Church published works and begin with a prayer asking that I can receive revelation throughout the day with how I can better serve those around me. After that hour is up I go again to the Lord in prayer and ask that I can have the courage to share what I learned with those outside on the streets. I do all I can on the streets to keep my focus on the Lord. I sing hymns in my head, and think of the good in those I see. I keep a prayer in my heart and keep asking that I can share what I know and what I learned. At the end of the day I thank my Heavenly Father for all the opportunites that I had with sharing what I learned that morning with His children. I know when I am obedient to the Lord and share what I know, then the next time I share it is easier and that I do not need to fear. Reading the Church published works, praying, and than going out and putting what I learned into action has definitely helped my faith in Christ grow. Show more Show less
