Hi I'm Tasha

I'm A Student Studying Youth Work. A Lover Of Music. Im A Mormon.

About Me

I was originally born in a small town called Trafford, I lived most of my childhood there. I've moved around lots as I like a change every so often, I now live in St Helens with my amazing Mum, this really is home. I'm was currently Nursery Nurse and what a blessing it is. I worked with the youngest of the children, from 3 months - 18 months. I really loved my job, it was so rewarding being able to be a part of the first few months of a childs development plus I knew that it was helping me to prepare for my own family in the future. Its always a plus knowing how to change a nappy and how to feed a baby! I have since left my profession as a nursery nurse to pursue my dream to become a youth probation officer. I LOVE it! I love music, I'm a singer but on occassion I do enjoy the odd tinkle on the piano. Singing is one of my passions, I am a part of Liverpool Stake choir. I love the peace that comes with singing and find it the best way to express myself ... Im pretty sure my neighbours have even heard me singing along whilst doing the dishes. I love spending time with my friends and family, and they are such great examples to me. Without them I wouldnt be the person I am today. I love shopping, I mean what girl doesnt. I love spending time with my friends and family and going on adventures. One of my most memorable adventures was when I went bungee jumping ... Eek! I love my life and I cant wait to see what else is instore for me!

Why I am a Mormon

Why wouldnt you want to be a Mormon? ... When I was 11 I made the choice to be a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. As soon as I met the Missionaries and I had my first lesson with them I knew from then that the Church was true. It was such an over powering feeling. On the 29th November 2003 I was baptised. Best Choice EVER! To this day I don't regret making that choice. I've had so many spiritual experiences in my life and each one confirms to me that the church is true and that the Saviour is there and he is real and that he loves me. I Love this gospel so much and it is such a blessing in my life and my family's life. It's so amazing to know that Heavenly Father gave his only begotten Son up for our sins. Each person goes through trials and tribulations and I've had my fair share, but knowing what Jesus went through I know in my heart Heavenly Father would never give me anything I couldnt handle. Through each trial I've put my trust in the Lord and I've always come out of the dark side. Being a member of this church for me is just so right.

How I live my faith

I have had several callings in the church which has helped me to get to know and love lots of people in my church. At the moment I am the Young Single Adults leader. I love this calling as it has given me the opportunity to draw closer to my YSA friends and to also be an example to them. Their such an amazing bunch of people with such beautiful testimonies. It's an honour to serve with them. Through my faith and through my callings I try to be an example to those around me whether they are members of my church or not. You never know who could be looking. Just by you doing or saying certain things you could really change a persons life.
