Hi I'm Andrew Lassen

I was born and raise in California. I have a degree in economics. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Well, I live in Camarillo. I received a degree in economics from BYU. I work for the family health food store. I like NPR, sushi, farmers markets, LA sports teams, BYU athletics, snorkeling and scuba diving, baseball, skateboarding, America's Test Kitchen, non-fiction, demand-side economics, the Beatles, fishing.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it's a pragmatic religion. Being a Mormon has taught me comradery, civility and dependability. Being a Mormon has help me learn how to receive answers to my prayers. It's help me learn that God's got things all worked out. Being a Mormon has taught me that through Christ's grace, I have the power to become perfected. I've come to learn that the gospel has the power to change one's nature. Being a Mormon has taught me how to view God and others. Being a Mormon makes gives me peace.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to serve, respect, and honor all people. I know that through this, I show my love and commitment to God. I am more inclined to do this when I am reading the scriptures, saying my prayers, following the commandments and keeping my covenants.
