Hi I'm Paxon James Paulsen

I'm serving in the Texas, Mcallen spanish speaking mission. I am from West Valley City, I love to play sports and I am a Mormon

About Me

I am currently serving a mission in Texas, Mcallen. I like to play sports like basketball, football, tennis, track, baseball, and lots of others. I love being adventurous by climbing mountains, river rafting, hiking, camping, exploring new places, and enjoying the beauties of being outside with nature. I also love to sing, dance, and play the guitar. I was in Show Choir and Madrigals while in High School and it was very fun! I am very good at Math and Science and I am interested in studying more of them in college after my mission. I have thought about doing Statistics, Veternarian Science, and much more. I have a big interest in animals, I love them all! I did one semester at Salt Lake Community College before my mission in General Studies. I love hanging out with my friends and spending time with my family. I enjoy going on car rides and going wherever just for fun. I love being all out there and having a really good time but I am also very laid back and enjoy relaxing around the fireplace or under the stars or etc. So yeah thats some of the basics. I will be sure to write more as more things come to my mind.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a mormon since birth, so it has been hard to actually be converted truly. But as I have grown older I have grown my testimony of this church little by little. As my faith has grown and my love for this gospel so has my trials and challenges. I know God puts these on me so I can learn and grow stronger and the more my faith grows in this gospel then the more God knows I can handle so he puts more trials on me. Which I have actually recently learned to love and to know its for my benefit. I am a mormon because I know this church is true and has blessed my life in countless ways. This gospel has saved my life and I cant wait to share it with others and help it save their lives. I will always praise my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and I will never fall away.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission where I can serve God and the people by helping them come unto Christ. I am doing this because I love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and I will do anything for them and to help this work go forward. Before my mission I taught 7-8 year olds in my ward in primary, where children learn the basics of the gospel. I loved this calling I was able to help to prepare them for baptism. What a wonderful experience.
