Hi I'm Chris

I am happy, I love sport, I am currently a missionary in Switzerland and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am happy. I come from a big family and I am the oldest of eight children. My dad is American and my mum German. So I am a mix of both Nations. I love sports, especially weightlifting and riding my bike. I love to travel and get to know different places and cultures. I love to play the piano even though I always play the same things. I finished my school in Germany and currently serve a full-time mission in Switzerland.

Why I am a Mormon

Of all the questions of the soul there is one that always got me. What makes me truly happy? I thought about this question for a long time. I was born into the church and grew up according to the teachings of the church. But I had to figure out for myself if this is the right way and if I will be happy there. I have experienced for myself step-by-step, here a little and there a little, that the gospel is really true and that it is also true that we can be absolutely happy through it. I love to pray to my Heavenly Father and to study his scriptures. I always recognize then how much God really loves me, how much he wants me to be happy and what the way is to achieve this goal. I am a Mormon because it makes me happy, because it is the right thing and because I have hope and inner peace regardless of what happens.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always trying to work on myself to become better. We all have our weaknesses and we all are making mistakes all the time. I strongly believe that through daily scripture study, prayer, keeping the commandments of God and serving our neighbors that we will change positively and become even more happier with ourselves. That is what I try to do every day as good as I can. Nobody of us is perfect but I could experience how we change positively through these things.
