Hi I'm Levi

I was born and raised in Montana. And yeah, people do live there. I am pretty laid back. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a young adult. I am the fith of six kids. I love my family a ton! I love to play almost all sports and am decent at most of them but not really great at any in particular. I love to read. I like reading fiction, history, or any other book I find particularly interesting. I am pretty laid back. I don't like to be worried or uptight unless there is a reason and a need to be. I have learned to love people as well. I enjoy talking with people and getting to know them. I try to like everybody and I enjoy the differences in people. I grew up in Montana and I loved it there! I was a little bit of a country kid growing up but have lived in some bigger cities recently and have loved those as well. I like to learn new things and enjoy doing somthing new that I have not done before. Its always been my dream to go sky diving. I just think it would be a ton of fun to fall through the air.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a family that is strong in this church. They always taught me what was right by example and I knew that this church and its beliefs always meant a lot to them. Although, as I got older I realized I needed to find out whether this church and what it teaches is the truth as it claims. Because I knew if it wasn't true I would not live it. I did believe it was probably true because of the warm feelings that I often felt growing up in it. But I didn't know for sure. The older I got, the more I doubted. And along that road came some choices to not fully live what I had been taught. I understood the idea that Jesus Christ was my Savior and Redeemer but I didn't apply his sacrifice in my life. And as a result I was unhappy and miserable but it took time for me to realize that. After some more time of that, I realized I wanted the peace and joy that I saw the gospel bring my family and others. I saw them rely on that strength that could get them through anything. And I knew I wanted that. I then humbled myself, repented, and put the Lord's will above mine. Once that process was done, I knew I had been changed by Jesus Christ's Atonement. I was able to feel his sacrifice sweep away my guilt, and take away the price of sin I coud no longer bear. And it was through His lifting of my burden, that I felt Him and His reality. And that, is how I know that Jesus Christ lives. Once I figured that out I also asked if this Church is the true church. I felt the Holy Ghost tell me that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints teaches truth and that the Church is true, that it is led by a prophet of God, and that the Book of Mormon is God's word as well as the Bible. And I know those things not because a person has told me it's true, but because I have felt the Spirit of God tell me it is true. And the truth of Christ and His gospel is all that really matters to me anymore. And that is why I'm a Mormon today.

How I live my faith

At the time of writing this, I am serving a two-year full time Mission. I am in the Pennsylvania Pittsburgh Mission. I go around and share with others our beliefs and how they can help bring us peace. I love what I do very much. It can be very hard and tiring, but it is very much worth it. I try my best to live how God would want me to live. I find it very satisfying.
