Hi I'm Inge

I'm a mom. I'm a teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife of 6 wonderful years. I am a mother of 2 energetic and sweet boys. I finished my bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies taking online classes while raising my first son and being pregnant with my second. I taught a first grade class of 22 kids and survived. :) I am currently working at home raising my rambunctious and ready to learn 4 year old and extremely energetic 2 year old. They truly make my life. I would not know any better life without them and my amazing husband. Each day I wake up with an excitement inside about what adventure we will explore that day. We do have challenges and mistakes, but we make sure to outweigh them with hugs, giggles, and plenty of love. I enjoy baking, cooking, and eating good food. I love spending time with friends and family. I also enjoy DIY-type projects; figuring out how something is made and doing it myself.

Why I am a Mormon

I know our Heavenly Father is real and He loves us. Experiences through my life have taught this truth to me and solidified it in my heart and mind. i was born into a mormon family. I had examples set before me of people who believed in God and Jesus Christ. I developed my own testimony through reading the scriptures and praying. I continued to learn of Christ and the prophets of the scriptures. I found examples in the scriptures of people enduring and living their faith. I recently went through the biggest trial of my life dealing with post-pardum depression and I only made it through with the help of my Father in Heaven and my Savior Jesus Christ. I know that He lives and has taken our burdens as His own to help make them light so we can endure. I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ can help us to be happy. I have seen it through examples and hope that I can live my life to be an example as well. The Lord loves us and truly wants for us to be happy. I am a mormon because I can feel Heavenly Father's love for me and would be nothing without Him.

How I live my faith

I love going to church and feeling the spirit that is shared by everyone. Going to church is my favorite. I love to see familiar faces and meet new ones as we share our testimonies of the Lord together. I currently work in the children's organization. I am the main person responsible for overseeing the teaching of Christ's gospel to our young children ages 18 months to 12 years old. I say that I am in charge of their teaching, but sometimes it seems they truly are the teachers for me. I am in awe every week by how strong and how close to the Lord these young ones are. They know so much and I truly enjoy being in their presence. I love having the opportunity to spend time with them each week and feel the spirit with them.
