Hi I'm Nick

I like motorcycles, metals, science and snowboarding. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the youngest of four kids in my family. I'm in college studying metallurgical engineering. I want to get a PhD in materials science because science is freaking awesome. I have a 1981 Yamaha Virago that I love to ride and customize. I like to snowboard and skateboard and mountain bike. I love reading. I play the piano and guitar. I served a two year mission in Mexico City. I'm blessed to have met so many amazing people in this life. I'm divorced. I love spending time with my nieces and nephews. I'm in the Air Force Reserve.

Why I am a Mormon

My ancestors heard about and joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in places like Denmark and Scotland during the 1800's. I grew up going to church with my family and I decided to be baptized as a young boy... I guess that's how I became a member of the church, but why am I a "Mormon"? Probably because I've tested the things I've learned in church and in The Book of Mormon and I've discovered that they are true. I'm positive that this is the only way I can return to live with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ after this life is over.

How I live my faith

Honestly, I just try to learn what Jesus taught and follow that. I'm not perfect. I make mistakes; but because I've made covenants with God I believe that if I do my best then things will work out in the end. I talk to my Heavenly Father through prayer all the time. I read and study the words in the scriptures often. I go to church every Sunday. I share the happiness, peace, and blessings that I've found through this church with anyone that wants them.
