Hi I'm Jacqueline Bezzant

I was born and raised in Minnesota. I was living in Utah going to Utah State. I am now serving in the Utica New York Mission.

About Me

I was going to school to major in history. I am now not sure what I want to do since I have been a missionary but it will be a great adventure in the future. I love to read especially if it is about history or politics. I also enjoy being outside on a warm summer day with either a good book or my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the Church and when I was younger I didn't find it very difficult to follow the Church's standards. It did become more difficult as I grew older but I still continued following the Gospel. I knew and still know to this day that it is true and if I obey the commandments that I will be happy. I am always reminding myself of Lehi's vision of the Tree of Life and how the way to happiness is along the straight and narrow. It is not easy but it will be worth in the end when I am able taste everlasting happiness that will be with me for eternity. The struggles that I will face while I am on Earth will be a short moment in the grand plan of happiness. I feel that my understanding of the plan of happiness is what truly inspiring me to continue to follow His Gospel and its commandments.

How I live my faith

The best way that I try to live my faith is by being an example to others. I do this by openly obeying his commandments like avoiding places that could lead me to a bad situation. I try to support others who have callings in the church. I also try to make sure I can make myself available so that my home and visiting teachers can come and visit me each month. I do this so that they can also live their own faith by being obedient.

Does The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints endorse political parties?

Jacqueline Bezzant
The Church has repeated said that they do not endorse any political parties. What they do encourage is for members to be involved in the political process by voting and staying informed. As a history major I have studied the importance of staying informed and if the people vote that it generally leads to good things. I have met many members as a missionary and found people of different political beliefs just like you would in any religion. Show more Show less
