Hi I'm Annie

I love traveling, food, and fun. I believe that there is no such thing as coincidences, and I am a Mormon :D

About Me

I am 23 years old, I still feel like a kid. I believe that life is given to us to enjoy, and learn a little bit in the process. ;) I know that a laugh,a song, and a picture a day can sure do a whole lot to lift peoples spirits. I am an undergrad studying anthropology so I can hopefully make a living doing the thing that I love most! I love being able to study why people do the things that they do. Through my experiences as a nanny I have been able to live and experience cultures around the world. I know that whoever we are and wherever we may be, that god is mindful of us and wants us to be happy and succeed.

Why I am a Mormon

The short answer to that is that I grew up in the church, but as with most things there is much more to it than just that. Over the years, through trials and tests I have found that it just makes sense. Logically, spiritually, intellectually, it just works for me. One of my favorite things about the gospel is the idea that god is constant. In this day of trial and trouble it is so comforting to me to know that no matter what happens god is always there. Not only that, but all of his commandments are constant. I always know exactly what to expect. I love the principle that everything that god asks us to do has a promised blessing attached to it. It makes it easy. Why would I ever want to go without those blessings?

How I live my faith

I beleive the best way to live your faith is to treat it as a lifestyle, not a religion. When I say I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I hope that people know that I will do everything I can to bear one anothers burdens that they may be light, mourn with those that mourn, comfort those that stand in need of comfort and to stand as a witness of god at all times and in all things and in all places. In short I hope that I can be an example of hope and happiness in a world full of uncertainty.
