Hi I'm David Purser

I rebuild classic cars! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am 20 years old and loving life. I work in a collision repair shop as a paint prep tech. Some of my hobbies are working on classic cars and fixing up my own cars in my garage. I have not started college yet, as i am working to save up money to pay for it. I love to have fun, to hang out with friends and meet new people! Very laid back and easy to get along with. Hardworking and not a quitter. If i want something i work my hardest to fullfill that goal. I am very interested in the mind. I want to study psychology right now but who knows if that will change by the time i start school, as well as physical health, physical therapy and such. Cars are my biggest thing in life right now. I really enjoy getting to know people through fixing their cars or just talking to them.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always grown up in the LDS church, but for me I had to know that is was what I wanted in life. I took Moroni's promise in Moroni chapter 10 and I asked God if the Book of Mormon was true, and if Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I received my answer and to this day still hold to it. Nothing can take this away from me or make me change my mind. In my life i have seen the gospel bless me in many ways. My family has never been closer. I don't think we would be as close as we are if the Gospel of Jesus Christ wasn't in our family or home. It is so amazing to see Gods love for me and my family members show through each of us. God has given us families so we will know what his love is like. He can't be here with us physically but he can spiritually, our family is a gift from God. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has given me strength to stay out of those situations as well as given me strength if i was in those situations to stand strong and be the son that Heavenly Father wants me to be. The Gospel has given me strength and comfort to know that I am not out on this journey here on Earth alone. That there are millions of people that are right there for strength and support when i need it. I know that my savior lives. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God. That he saw God the Father and His son Jesus Christ on that beautiful morning. I know we have a living prophet on the Earth today to lead and guide each and everyone of us, not only in the church but the whole world. I know that families can be together forever if we live how we are supposed to live. I know the Church of Jesus Chirst of Latter-Day Saints is the true church. I can't and won't ever deny that. I know Jesus Christ Loves me and everyone else, I know I am a son of God. That through faith and enduring I will see my Heavenly Father again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith each and everyday. Attend Church every Sunday and strive each day to be closer to Christ. I study my scriptures for an hour each day to build my knowledge of the gospel and build my testimony. Home teaching is something I look forward to each month. I enjoy sitting down with the families and giving a lesson on something I feel is important for the family to know. I strive to work my hardest each week to partake of the sacrament and come closer to Christ. Currently I am serving a mission in the Lansing Michigan Mission, I am helping the elect of God come closer to him through Faith, Repentance, Baptism, Receiving the Holy Ghost and Enduring to the End. There is no greater call than being a missionary, a tool in the hands of the Lord.
