Hi I'm Kayli Olivia

BYU-I. Psych major. Future Missionary. Mormon.

About Me

My name is Kayli and I am a student at BYU-I in Rexburg, Idaho. I love it here. I enjoy camping, hiking, rafting, fires, and anything outdoors. I like to read and love to travel. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I am a psychology major and I hope to be a counselor for kids, teens, and families someday. I am probably one of the loudest people ever. I love to takes pictures, and sometimes my friends get annoyed that I "need" a picture of us but I really like to capture the moment. I have recently began to enjoy cooking but my all time favorite food is popcorn. I'm also a Dr. Pepper addict. I am planning to serve a mission in the near future and I am so excited.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I know with all my heart that it is true. It has blessed my life in ways I can't even begin to explain. The gospel brings happiness into my heart and into my life. I am comforted to know that I am never alone because the Savior is always by my side. I know that I am a daughter of God with infinite worth and potential. I am a member because I need my Savior and Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving everyday to be better and more Christlike. I attend church every week and other church activities. I strive to fulfill my callings to the best of my ability. I study the scriptures and words of the prophets and take into my heart the council and direction that they give. I strive to be an example and positive influence to all and especially my close friends and family. I try my best to see everyone as a child of God and not judge.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Kayli Olivia
Yes, Mormons believe in the bible. It is a very important part of our church and our principles. Along with the Book of Mormon we believe that we have the full gospel of Jesus Christ, our savior and redeemer. It is a powerful book of many sacred stories. We use it in the lessons we teach and the talks we share. We have testimonies of The Bible along with the Book of Mormon. We believe that we need them both to have all the knowledge of the gospel. The books work together to teach us the things we need to do everyday to become more Christ-like and return to our father in heaven. Show more Show less
