Hi I'm Jenna Michele

I'm a singer, a dancer on a good day, and a people person. Most importantly I'm a sister, I'm a friend, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I come from what I would call a unique family and I wouldn't have it any other way. For a long time it was just me between two boys who used to drive me nuts but over time have become my heroes. When I was fourteen my family was able to adopt a third little boy who (among other things) added a lot of energy and color to the mix. He was followed by my one and only little sister who I'm happy to say has been my shadow all four years of her life. Our family is far from perfect, but they have taught me so much and when we are all together it's anything but dull. My passions include: Singing, dancing, playing the cello, baking, hiking, camping, swimming, and traveling. I enjoy most things as long as I'm in good company. I've decided to study music because I've always wanted to and at one point someone besides my mother told me that I could do it, so I went for it! Music has influenced my life in profound ways on more than one occasion. It's just amazing! It has the power change your mood and make you move. Ultimately it influences us on all levels; mentally, emotionally and especially spiritually. It's like it was designed that way :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born into a family that lived and taught me the gospel. I chose to be baptized and become a member of the church when I was 8 years old. Not just because my parents were, but because I saw the happiness that the gospel brought to our family and knew in my heart that it was a good thing and the right path for me. It was the right path for me because it's the right path for everyone! We have a loving Heavenly Father who desires for us to return to dwell with him and our families for eternity, and in His infinite wisdom has provided a way for each of us to accomplish that. I am a Mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ has provided me with the knowledge that I am literally a daughter of God and that I have a divine purpose in this life and in the eternities. I know that through living the gospel principles of faith, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end I can experience eternal life. I am a Mormon because it makes sense. It makes sense that we have a loving Heavenly Father who provided a perfect plan for us to learn, develop, and eventually become perfected through the Atonement of His Son Jesus Christ. I have come to know that the gospel is true through the quiet assurances of the Holy Ghost as I have studied, prayed, and especially sought for guidance in times of confusion and trial.

How I live my faith

Currently I've chosen to live my faith by serving a full-time mission. As a missionary I invite others to come unto Christ and by so doing have become His representative for 18 months! This has been a constant reminder for me that my lifestyle needs to be consistent with my belief system. As I have had this opportunity to share what I know, I have come to a greater understanding that the best way I can live my faith is through the service of others. Love is after all the greatest commandment and when kept will bring us the greatest joy.
