Hi I'm Xander Rigby

I love being outside in nature, preferably on a dirt bike. Sham-wow has changed my life, and I’m a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in a great family. We are all very close and depend on one another. I find great happiness in the outdoors. Some of the best mountians in the world i found in my backyard. I grew up on dirt bikes, camping, and playing practical jokes. I love to have fun, and enjoy simple things about life! I have found great pleasure, peace, and comfort from music. Anything from large African hand drums, to a ukulele. I have faith that anyone can find happiness; letdown is the beginning of victory, and we must cultivate wisdom from experiences.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this faith, but that is not why I have decided to continue in it. I have felt the blessings from when I’m living the Gospel. I have felt Gods love in my life, family, and experiences. Some of these experiences have been hard, but they have molded me into who I am today. I know that god gives us trial so that we can rely on him. As we do he helps us. And this is why I’m a Mormon. My knowledge of this gospel is primarily from the experiences I’ve had and how God has helped get through them.

How I live my faith

All growing up my Dad would always make sure my Brothers and I were doing some type of service. It might have been mowing someone’s lawn that was in need, going and planting gardens, putting up my grandmother’s massive Christmas tree, or just trying to be a friend. My Mom would always teach me the importance of being kind and giving of one’s self. I was blessed in my upbringing. I never went a day without knowing that my parents loved me. She taught this through her actions, and her loving words of encouragement. As of now I am trying to live the way my parents raised me. I am serving a full time mission in the great state of Nebraska. I love it; I get to teach people about Jesus all day. What could be better? I’m only just realizing how great of an opportunity I am blessed me with. The gospel of Jesus Christ is here to help us change, and become better Parents, Children, Missionaries, and families. You can apply his teaching to anything and find positive results. I know that I am not perfect, but you don’t need to be perfect to be part of Jesus Christ Church.
