Hi I'm Dennis.

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was baptized when I was eight years old and I love the church.

About Me

I am mentally and physically disabled. I live on Social Security Disability and I do volunteer work at the YMCA. Mowing lawns, yard work, moping, sweeping, that sort of thing. I study scriptures, read novels, magazines, and non-fiction. I have fun on the Internet. I enjoy studying other religions doctrines, as well as the Church's doctrine. I am writing a horror novel that takes place in modern-day Salem, Massachusetts. I enjoy working out and eating right. I also use meditation as form of exercise to help me feel at peace with myself and Heavenly Father. I am single, but I hope to be married in the temple someday. I enjoy time with family and friends, but I'm mainly a loner. My parents are my closest friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by my foster parents. Growing up, I had more of an intellectual and social conversion to Church more than anything. My spiritual conversion to the Church came when I was twenty. Do I believe everything that happens in this church is perfect? No, but I know that this is Christ's church on this earth. My spiritual conversion to our Savior, Jesus Christ, came when I was on my mission. I do know Christ is my Savior and He lives. I have had some trials and doubts about some things in my life. But as I humbled myself to Heavenly Father my testimony and conversion to Christ and His church have been strengthened so much. If you want to know more details about this, talk with me personally. I know Jesus Christ is my Savior and He lives. I know the Book of Mormon and all other scriptures are true, I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is His church. I know the Church was restored through Joseph Smith. I know Thomas S. Monson is our current prophet.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving as ward missionary. It's great helping the sister missionaries find people to share the Gospel with. I get fulfilled at church meetings, especially the sacrament. The sacrament helps me remember Christ's atonement, feel forgiven of my sins, and be spiritually renewed. Doing volunteer work at the YMCA helps me to live my faith. As does studying the scriptures, praying, and meditating. I'm hardly ever negative. I strive to look for the good in everyone and everything. This uplifts me even more spiritually.
