Hi I'm Glen

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Born in Provo, Utah and raised in Dallas, Texas; I'm the eldest of 5 children, and the only boy in the family. I'm currently living in Fivemiletown, Northern Ireland (the hometown of my mother, which makes me half-Northern-Irish.) I've been living there for the past 7 years, so it's practically my home now. I'm a really creative person. From an early age I learned to love drawing and writing stories. In school I specialized in Art, and one day hope to make a name for myself as a professional artist. My dream is to one day write and illustrate my own comic book series, among other things.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church. However, I was not always aware that the Church was true, or what that meant. It was only until fairly recently that I was aware of the truthfulness of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. For years I struggled with worry and guilt. I didn't have a testimony of the Gospel, and everyone around me seemed to be so much happier, and they had such beautiful testimonies. I felt like I was alone, and that I could never find the truth for myself. I remembered one time, when my mother was talking to me about Joseph Smith, I asked: "How do you find out of the Church is true?" She said to do as Joseph Smith did, and to pray about it. And so, following his example, I knelt down in prayer, to know if the things I had been taught were true. Very few times in my life have I felt the way I did then. I couldn't deny it. I knew that, at the very least, the Book of Mormon was true, and that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I know now that I am not alone, even if at times I feel that I am. Through my struggles and doubts, I remember the promise God made to Enos, in the Book of Mormon. Through our faith in Jesus Christ, we can be forgiven, and be made great in His sight.

How I live my faith

I have been blessed with many talents, interests and abilities. I am striving to use those talents and abilities to spread and share God's message to everyone I can.
