Hi I'm Joe Galati

I´m from North Carolina, US. I love my Family. I love creating Friendships. I´m a Mormon.

About Me

I love the beach and crave the outdoors but also enjoy a nice cold evening snuggled up by the fire with my dog and a great book. I have a passion for sports and endulge in a quick pickup game of Basketball. Also, I LOVE the water. On a hot afternoon I would rather be on the boat, or kayaking than anywhere else. I´m easily entertained and have found my family to be my greatest joy and influence. Music is the best and would love to broaden my horizons with culture. I´m a Hard Worker, Loyal and have the desire to be more like Christ. I love my Father and Mother in Heaven and can´t wait to see them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was a little wild as a child but took religion and my various callings seriously. I grew up relying on my parents testimonies but always had the desire to increase my faith. During my teenage years I began to make incorrect choices and ignore my parents. At what felt like the lowest point in my life I heard a sharp, tender, loving but firm voice tell me to pray. That night I sincerely prayed from my heart for what felt like hours for a guide and to have someone lift me from the hole I dug myself in. After many tears I felt a flame as big as my chest consume me completely. At that moment I was going to change. I know now without a doubt that my Heavenly Father loves me. I can stand firm as a servant of Him and say that I know He lives. I love my Redeemer Jesus Christ and have the hope to some day kneel at his feet and cry Hallelujah and Praise the One True King on High.

How I live my faith

I have been blessed with many opportunities to participate in youth activities and help create a healthy environment for them in the church. Most recently I taught the young kids (8-10 years old) for 6 months in the primary and What A Blessing they Are! I learned SOO much from them and love them. Everytime I can, I share the gospel of Jesus Christ with my friends and those I meet. Every month I visit a couple families from my ward to lift them and confort them. I try to keep in contact with as many friends as I can and try to be an example to them in everything I do. My family and I read the scriptures and pray every night together to create unity and a friendship that will last forever.
