Hi I'm Brianna Lyn.

Hi, I'm a 20 year old college student, newly married just trying to get through life just like everyone else. I'm also a Mormon :)

About Me

I love to read, it's one of my favorite things to do. I love to sing while I clean and organize. I would love to draw more often but for now I'll stick to baking. I love to learn and go to institute and I love being a missionary. 'Every member a missionary'. Pretty much, I have A LOT of energy ALL THE TIME!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because as I was raised in the LDS church I have come to realize that wickedness never was happiness. I have so much joy in my life knowing that I have a loving Heavenly Father who knows me by name and who listens to me. I'm grateful for His son, Jesus Christ who was willing not only to die for me, but to live his life to show me the way. The holy ghost helps me to make the right decisions and the temple is there to be a model for my own household. I love the gospel because it makes e feel whole and like I have a purpose in life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my church meetings and going to institute. I have no calling right now but I would love to teach the youth. I try to be missionary to help strengthen my own self and to bring light into other peoples lives. I constantly strive to become a 'better me' and to learn things like patience (which I totally struggle with). I hope that one day I can learn the art of unconditional love like the Savior has for each one of us.

Why is it important for us to take care of our bodies? Why are our bodies called temples of God in the Bible?

Brianna Lyn.
It is important to take care of our bodies because they are sacred gifts that were given to us for being obedient in the pre mortal existence. We call our bodies temples of God because a unique spirit dwells inside of each one of us. Not onl is it important to realize that we are an individual and God knows us by name but that we must respect our bodies because they are so precious. Lucifer was an admirable anne who fell and became corrupted. The punishment he received was to NEVER receive a body like ours. This simple fact shows his torment in how he tried to slowly poison our bodies and minds in his rage against God. We must see that we are more powerful than anything thrown our way. We take our bodies for granted. The simple uses of fingers and eyes and ears to give us the wonderful senses to enjoy the world around us created just for us. People use their bodies as a form of expression but we should do it simply. Keeping our bides and mins clean and pure will let the holy ghost guide us. Everyone is beautiful, but not everyone has realized it yet. Show more Show less
