Hi I'm Joseph

I'm a devoted father and husband. I'm an attorney. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in sunny California. After spending a few years in the Midwest attending law school, I had to return to my roots to "dethaw". I love sunshine, avocados, citrus, and gardening. When I'm not working, I like to spend time with my wife and three children. We camp, play music, and enjoy the outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

My faith gives my life meaning. I know that we are the children of God. He loves us and wants us to return to our heavenly home. In order to help us reach our divine potential, he sent a Savior -- Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ took upon himself our sins if we would repent and take His name upon ourselves. God did not abandon us on earth. He gave us prophets and scriptures to guide us and assist us on our journey. Joseph Smith is a prophet that restored the priesthood, which is the power to act in God’s name on earth. He also restored the principals and ordinances of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon is a true book of scripture and, in companionship with the Bible, reaffirms the divine role of Jesus Christ in God’s plan.

How I live my faith

I regularly attend my church services. I set aside one evening per week to teach my children the gospel of Jesus Christ. My family prays and reads the scriptures together daily. I pay tithing and visit the temple regularly. I work with young men in the scouting program.
