Hi I'm Josh

I am a student, a aspiring firefighter, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I have a wonderful family with 1 sister, 2 brothers, and 2 wonderful parents. I love to be in the outdoors. Hiking, biking, camping, swimming and shooting are some of my favorite activities. I love to make friends and be social. I've been playing the piano for about 6 years. I'm training to be a firefighter and have loved every second of it.

Why I am a Mormon

My testimony didn't come in a big bang, I had to work to know for myself whether it was true or not. It was very subtle at first but as I kept studying and pondering, I could feel the spirit testify to me more and more. I know that Jesus Christ is my savior and redeemer. He called a prophet in the latter day, named Joseph Smith, to restore his gospel to the earth. I know that the keys restored to the earth are the keys to our salvation and are held by Christ's living prophets and apostles. I know that families are forever through the sealing power and I am grateful for repentance. That whatever we may do, we can turn to Christ and be cleansed by his atonement.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by my actions everyday. I try to be my best by reading my scriptures, praying, fulfilling my responsibilities, getting an education, obeying my parents, giving service, being kind, and by tying to exemplify Christ like attributes throughout my day. My current calling in the church is to assist with the cub scouts in the bear pack. This has been my favorite calling that I've had because as I teach these young boys, they teach me. We have fun together playing games but when it comes to learning, these boys surprise me every time with the information they can retain and the spirit they have.
