Hi I'm Mickelle

I play trumpet and piano. I like The Beatles. I run. I live in Montana. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of three girls. I love music, in almost any form. My favorite color is green and my favorite season is spring. I like black bears and songbirds, my favorite is a meadowlark. I like to draw and paint. Someday I'm going to travel the world. My dad is an electrical engineer and my mom's a spanish teacher. I want to go to college and be an engineer. I love math. My sister is currently serving a mission in Peru for the church. My other sister is a biological engineer. I have a cat.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel makes me happy. I enjoy going to church and being in the fellowship of other members. I feel the spirit when I pray and I know God listens. I love the stories in the Bible and The Book of Mormon and the lessons they teach.

How I live my faith

I attend an early morning scripture study class every weekday during the school year. Wednesdays I attend a youthgroup where we learn new skills, do service for others, and other activites that help us generally get to know other youth with the same standards. I go to church services every Sunday and occasionally attend the temple.

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

The Bible is Holy Scripture and the word of God. We believe in the stories and teachings. We also believe The Book of Mormon to be another testament of Christ. These two books go hand-in hand. One solidifies the other. Show more Show less

Are Mormons Christians?

We are formally called The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are Christians. We believe in Christ as our Savior and Redeemer, He is the center of our religion and through His sacrifice, everyone has the opportunity to return to Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
